Is there a Nagios plugin that enables you to specify the referrer URL when checking a URL?

I want to monitor site A that only accepts requests for a certain URL if the requests originate from site B. I know Wget has an option of downloading content protected by referrer like so wget –referer=http://first_page http://second_page Is there any Nagios plugin that would make this possible, or is check_http capable of this? From the check_http man page: -k, –header=STRING Any other tags to be sent in http header. Use multiple times for additional […]

Where is the plugins directory for Turnkey Trac?

I setup a Turnkey Trac virtual machine and am trying to set up the LdapPlugin to use use authentication through a local Active Directory. What determines Puppet pluginsync directory structure on clients?

I’m using puppet 2.6.8. I’ve got pluginsync=true on both master and client. I’ve created a module and atype which lives on the puppetmaster at: /etc/puppet/modules/mymodule/lib/puppet/type/mytype.rb The sync works on the client, but the type ends up here on the client: /var/lib/puppet/lib/puppet/type/mytype.rb but I expected it to live here: /var/lib/puppet/mymodule/lib/puppet/type/mytype.rb so that it doesn’t collide with types from other modules. I must have something misconfigured, but I don’t know what. Nope, that’s how Puppet does pluginsync. […]
